The house we build is your home, and it becomes part of the landscape of your community. We are proud to contribute to the built environment of Victoria and feel it is equally important to give back in other ways.
As a company dedicated to providing custom homes, we feel a strong moral and ethical responsibility to give back and participate in the powerful work addressing the needs of the homeless and under-house in our communities. That’s why we support The Existence Project. This Victoria-based non-profit builds and fosters connection in our community through storytelling. Providing platforms and opportunities to connect housed and unhoused community members, The Existence Project strives to make “Victoria a community founded on connection, dignity and belonging for ALL. Where individuals & institutions from resilient, interconnected communities rooted in an experiential understanding of each other’s stories.”
HeroWork does amazing work in the community. They rally trades people and community volunteers to perform radical renovations for Victoria non-profits in need of improved spaces. Some of our crew have volunteered their time in the past and the company is looking forward to playing a larger role in a radical renovation in the future!
We were the construction sponsor for Power To Be’s annual fundraiser Power To Play Victoria for five years. This Victoria-based non-profit provides inclusive outdoor recreation programs for people living with a barrier or disability. It has been uplifting to be welcomed into such an energetic and wonderful group of people who are so successfully improving lives in our community. The enthusiasm the staff and crew has for this organization and event is overwhelming – tackling everything from building the course, volunteering at the event, and entering the race.
